CHARIHO SBC YOUTH GROUP
The Chariho Southern Baptist Youth Group is an essential branch of the church. All youths in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to participate and bring their friends. With over 15 regularly attending weekly youth meetings, our outreach is strong and welcoming. Our youth group meetings are at Chariho SBC every Friday night from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. There might be something special planned like making salsa or working on a important project for the church. We play some games to help increase of knowledge of our Lord and the Bible, sing praises to God, and have time to just goof around. We are a diverse group of people, but our differences help us reach out to all types of youth in the community. Each quarter we try to hold a special event like a field trip, special event, or fund raising project.
We also have an active Youth Sunday School class that meets every Sunday at 8:45 am. There are two classes made up of Junior High and Senior High youths. Because the Youth Group is so important to Chariho SBC we prayerfully support them and encourage their activities throughout the year.
